Project Overview
The Pacific Partnership for Deaf-Blind Technical Assistance Services represents a partnership between the Pacific Outreach Initiative at the Center on Disability Studies, University of Hawaii and the outlying Pacific Island nations/jurisdictions of American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia (Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, and Yap), Guam, Republic of Palau and Republic of the Marshall Islands.
The purpose of the project is to increase the capacity of educational agencies to improve the results for children and young adults who are deaf-blind and their families to live, go to school, play, work and have friends in their communities.
